Welcome to my feeble attempt at developing a personal web-site. Thank you for stopping by, I hope that you will come and visit again soon. It is my intention to update the content frequently. Before you leave I would appreciate it very much if you would sign my guest-book. Comments and suggestions for improvement are welcome.

Well ! What's to know about me....nothing very exciting I'm afraid, but please feel free to read on. If you find it boring...spare a thought for me I WAS THERE....Anyway......

I was born in Derry (also known as Londonderry) in Northern Ireland, (which was the homeplace of my mother). When I was very young my family moved to County Sligo in the Republic of Ireland (Southern Ireland), so I grew up in a small village called Rosses Point (which was the homeplace of my father).

When I left school, I followed the family and the Rosses Point village tradition by going to sea, spending approximately 3 years in the Merchant Navy. I sailed on the British Railways ferry TSS Duke of Rothesay, the Royal Mail Lines cargo liner RML Aragon and the Shell UK tanker SS Hastula, (I would be delighted to hear from any old shipmates that might read this). After leaving the navy, I worked for many years in the motor trade in Sligo prior to moving to Los Angeles in the mid eighties, where I now reside with my family, wife Margaret and 2 daughters, Michelle and Julie.

In April '98 we welcomed a new member to our family when Michelle got married to Jeffrey (Jeff) Price. Click here to see photographs of the joyous occasion. The happy couple have recently returned to the Los Angeles area having lived in Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington for a year and a half..

On June 22nd 2001 we welcomed another new member to our family when Michelle gave birth to Kiera Elizabeth. I had never realized that grandchildren could be so much fun.....and on May 28th 2004 we welcomed Ryan Jeffrey into our world.
