Baseball
|
Although I have never played the game, I enjoy baseball as a
spectator sport. I follow the fortunes (misfortunes ?) of the
Los Angeles Dodgers and
the Anaheim
Angels. I usually manage to get to about 10 to 12 games each
season. |
Computers
|
I enjoy messing with computers, building, upgrading, solving
problems and troubleshooting. Also surfing the web is a great
way of passing time and learning new things |
Bowling
|
I like to bowl....of course I was never any good, but I did have
a lot of fun. A few years ago I took a couple of bowling lessons....and
would you believe that I have not bowled since. I guess that
I just got involved in other things....every so often we say
we will go bowling again, but it has not happened yet. |
Golf
|
As the saying goes...."it takes balls to golf the way I
do" a lot of balls, actually, truth being told -
I can't hit the ball far enough to lose it <g>. Recently
I have been playing golf on a more regular basis (I use the term
"play" loosely of course). My distance has started
to improve, so, I would suggest that now would be a good time
to buy shares in Titleist
- as I expect I will be losing a lot more balls soon. Seriously
though, golf is a great game with a long and great tradition
and I do derive maximum pleasure from it....both playing and
watching. |
DIY
|
I love tools and I love to fix things, whether it is working
on the car or trying to repair a broken hair dryer I always find
it a very enjoyable experience. |
Motorcycles
|
I don't have a motorbike at the moment....but I have fond
memories of the years when I regularly rode the various Triumphs
that I owned. From a Tiger Cub to a Thunderbird, unfortunately
I never did get my dream bike at that time....the Bonneville. |
